I am quite keen to add these chaps to my British Peninsular army. However, the information on the details of their uniforms seems either lacking or contradictory. So for the year 1812 what I want to know is :

1. Did all soldiers wear black crossbelts?
2. Did all soldiers have the elite company wings (as they were styled light infantry) or was it only the elite companies?
3. Did all companies have green plumes or were the usual line distinctions maintained? I ask as light infantry seems to have been only a style rather than a role.
4. Did officers have black belting or white?

I will be grateful to anyone who can help.

Theres a plate in Woodrows(?) military dress of the peninsular war , I think of an officer. Can't recall the details, but pretty sure the belts were white.
