Here are some pictures of the game I ran at Adepticon. Some people had been set up in my space so I had to move to another location. Two of the four players registered still found me and we had a pretty good time playing.

That's awesome, will you be at the NOVA Open ??

Pictors Studio28 Mar 2017 7:31 p.m. PST

Thanks.

I don't know if I'll be at the NOVA Open. I've never been before. It will depend on my work schedule, which I don't know yet. I probably can't afford to take time off to go to it.

Just wondered because there are going to be some AoS narrative games using ships.

Scott,

My brother and I played in your Plague Fleet game at the HAWKs most recent Barrage. It was a blast! Hope the players at Adepticon had a similar experience (even with the table miscue).

Nice game, I went to Adepticon for the first time. I'd like to go next year and run a game. But, it seemed an intimidating venue with vendors, tournaments mostly. I'm not sure how I would go about scheduling a game for next year? I mean a game in which I provide the terrain, minis, and act as game master, then invite players to sign up, etc.

If you want to run a game, keep your eyes on the Adepticon website for announcements that submissions are being taken. Registration for the convention usually goes live in mid to late November, so the deadline for game submissions would be several weeks prior to that; right around November 1st. Event submissions opened in August for this year's convention.

People took your table? That's pretty messed up. The staff wouldn't move them?

There really wasn't anything difficult about registering a game. Just like Tachikoma says, keep your eyes on the site and then put it up just like at any other convention.

There were a bunch of people around that game, probably a dozen and they had their stuff set up. I can see why they didn't want to move them.

I've been in mix ups before like that, it sucks but they are volunteers putting in time trying to keep things flowing. If there are hiccups now and again it is pretty understandable.

Great looking game! Love seeing folks do something different. Are those some RT chaos warriors I see?

I'd second the recommendation for runnign a game at adepticon. We did our Mech Attack game for the first time 3 years ago and have done it each year since. Just sign up when they open event registration and it's easy peasy. For event games, They'll even provide prize support!

Thanks, looking forward.
