Published by Mantic Games. Currently in post Kickstarter wave 1 release. Wave 2 is tentatively scheduled for June 2017. The game is modeled after the comic series, not the TV show. You will find some popular TV characters missing.

My group played a game last weekend and had a blast. The Walker rules allow both sides to manipulate or get trapped in by the Walker's actions. Walkers respond to noise and mayhem caused by the players, and perform random acts determined by event cards. The combat rules are not realistic, but they're quick and fun. Both melee and ranged weapons are included.

The Figs are 28mm and work well with O scale train buildings and scenery. The minis are plastic with very good detail. Like most collectible miniature games these days, the core game gives you 6 survivor characters, 12 Walkers, and all the game components needed to play. However, expansion packs are available to increase your options.

They're VERY big. Definitely more 32mm than 28mm.

Not sure what the actual scale is, only the advertised scale. I do no other rule set in that scale, I prefer 20mm or 15mm.
