Can anyone help me with colors for a Vichy Panhard 165/175? I just got one from Mad Bob's and I want to add it to my platoon. |

Do you mean in Vichy France itself or in the overseas territories? |

Here is one illustration showing some camo colors:
I have no sourcing for this camo scheme, so can not attest to it's validity. I found it on the website Armoredgun.org, under the French armored cars: link Note: While this website has information on many interesting and odd military vehicles, all the text is in Russian. And the advertising banners are most definitely NOT WORKSAFE (or more importantly NOT WIFE AND KIDS SAFE). -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

The above profile has been "stolen" from 'The Encyclopedia of French Tanks and Armoured Vehicles 1914 – 1940' by Francois Vauvillier. It illustrates a Panhard from the 1st Foreign Legion Infantry Regiment used in the deep south of Morocco in 1934. This book has profiles of other makes of armoured cars bearing similar camouflage schemes. They are all based in North Africa. Black & white photos in the book show armoured cars with similar schemes, plus ones without any line markings (therefore possibly green all over), plus ones that are very light in tone but what that colour is is anyone's guess. |

Tanks Encyclopedia says that camo scheme is on a vehicle of the 3rd RCA, which was stationed in Algeria. So that one should be good for NA. I have a book in French on the Chasseurs d'Afrique that show the 165 in plain army green. |

No it doesn't Jeff. Tanks Encyclopedia illustrates a different vehicle altogether. |

I've opted for all green. This way I can always add some camo later if I have to. |
