With the new Victrix boxes on their way for EIR (first one released looks fantastic), I was wondering what options there are for more senior command models for the EIR period. I noticed there was a thread already on this subject but it's from 2009. I know of Aventine and the old foundry models but not sure what else is out there. |

Aventines as mentioned, lovely minis. |

Aventine. They should have enough for you, but if you are still looking for more, you might have a look at the A&A middle imperial romans. They have a personality pack. I can't tell from the pictures whether there is anything about them that would make them unmistakably later. |

I am a fan of Warlord's metal senior commanders, especially the one of Emperor Aurelian. |

Oh- some of the A&A emperors are very nice. |

How do the aventine miniatures look alongside Warlord? I would like to have 2-4 miniatures on a command stand so would probably be mixing different ranges |

My usual question. What is EIR? If you are going to use abbreviations explain them. |

Early Imperial Roman, I'm only using the abbreviation because everyone else uses it. |

Aventine are somewhat larger than most Warlord (some Warlord are larger than others). |

Aventine, Foundry and Warlord are your best bets I think. |
