My brave Egyptian infantry are in the process of being joined by a chap waving a flag.

After advice sought here, I have the correct flags but now I'm unsure as to the flagpole colour.

Information would be gratefully received.

Would guess pretty plain but there is a uniform plate in the New York Public Library collection with an Egyptian staff officer of the period and behind him is a standard bearer with a red flagpole

I saw a few minis with red poles but you never know if a miniature is accurately painted or not.
