Hello how many figures for infantry do these rules suggest per base? Also do you need the original WW2 Spearhead rules to use the WW1 supplement. Thanks Sorry about the previous post. User error |

OSL2000, there is no fixed number of figures per base. Great War Spearhead is popular in 6, 10, 15 and 20mm. Robin typically uses two figures per base. You can see lots of examples on his website here: wargaming.org.nz/index.html My preference, FWIIW, is 6mm. Three to four figures is fine for infantry; two cavalry; or one field gun and crew. What you will find is that the number of stands will give the overall impression rather than the number of figures per stand. Robert |

You do not need WW2 Spearhead for the Great War supplement. It is complete by itself. |

The combat system removes figures by the stand, the individual number of figures won't make any difference. From what I've seen, 3 figures per base seems normal in 15mm. |

You do not need WW2 Spearhead for the Great War supplement. It is complete by itself You do not need WW2 Spearhead if you have the newer GWSH rules, they are a complete ruleset. If you have the old supplement you will need the WW2 Rules. |

Has anybody got a link to where you can get GWSH from? |

Stosstrupen are you talking about the second version of Great War Spearhead? Regarding not needing the WW2 rules |

As above, 2nd Ed is a standalone set, and the number of figures per base is whatever looks good. In 15mm and 20mm I use two infantry per base, rather more in 6mm. As regiments/brigades will have a dozen bases or more, that is where the mass comes from. |
