Yes strongly recommended. Easily the best and least biased single volume history of the Bulge. Insights and new information even for those who've read 10 earlier works (German subs used to gather weather reports for instance, great insight into the airwar and much more). TomT |

great reviews, but 25 bucks for a kindle edition is a bit insane. I hope it comes out in paperback one day… |

I just finished reading it a week ago -- I found it very informative and eminently readable. Secondhand copies should be available cheapish on Amazon -- that's how I picked up mine. Or wait for the remainders to hit the market. I also enjoyed the author's books on Stalingrad and the battle for Berlin. He tells complicated stories with vividness and insight. |
