Anyone know how the fellow who was taken away in the ambulance (I believe it was Friday night) is doing? I'm assuming (perhaps wrongly) that he was there for the convention. Don't want to violate anyone's privacy (not looking for a name), but I was in the lobby when they wheeled him out and was wondering.

Best,

Ooof…that happened to me one Historicon. Midnight Madness + too much booze + no sleep + epilepsy = grand mal seizure during NSDM in-brief.

I too was casualty of Midnight Madness. I had Howard's XI Corps at Chancellorville and drank enough for enough +1's that I held off Stonewall long enough for the North to win. Of course I was in my room by then.

Had a similar experience at a scale model show a couple of years ago that I attended with a friend. My friend works in the coronary unit of a local hospital and the guy was on his ward the next day when he went to work. Fortunately he was recovering well and able to joke that it wasn't brought on by how much he had spent at the show. Hope the guy in your case is ok.
