Maybe I've been spending too much of my time following boardgame releases and the chatter around them, but I'm very surprised that no one seems to be discussing the forthcoming to Kill a King book for Pike & Shotte!

Anyway, peering at the small pictures available, I would guess that units are still pike OR shot, rather than the combined ones many of us would prefer. But I can't tell 100%.

I think I might wait until the release and I have more information before I order mine. What are other people's views? Have you pre-ordered, are you interested in the book, or will you just wait and see or pass oon it altogether?

The author, Charles Singleton, posted on the Warlord Forums some time ago that there are period specific rules in teh supplement which make the infantry fight as one mixed unit comprising both shot and pike.

That's good news, and what I initialy thought. Squniting at the army lists pictured on the pre-order page made me wonder though.

Back on my 'to buy' list then! :)
