Perhaps not the most detailed write-up but we had a very good time indeed trying out these great rules with our Zulu War stuff. See more here rollaone.com/2017/03/19/the-zulus-who-would-be-shakas-our-first-game-of-the-men-who-would-be-kings-rules / All the very best

thumbs up Excellent AAR. Your figures look great as does the battlefield. Is it a cloth? My grandson, soon to be son-in-law and I took TMWWBK out for a test drive this afternoon, playing a 'bathtub' Isandlwana.

That's awesome setup and AAR.

Great job all around.
I really liked the basing you did with the 6mm figs.
Good to get the "Little One" involved.
You should share this write up on the MWWBK Facebook page, if you haven't already.
Thanks for sharing;
Joep

Thank you all for the kind comments.

I did the terrain mat last year for another project I did doing Saga in 6mm and there is a note about it here – rollaone.com/2016/06/19/saga-in-6mm-part-7.

It is basically a plastic backed drop sheet (used to protect flooring whilst painting) with a mixture of acrylic sealant, brown paint and sand/grit spread thinly on the top. After this, and once dry, it was drybrushed and then finally some grass added.

I have sent a join request to the MWWBK facebook page and will post it there if I get accepted!

This is brilliant, I am even tempted to ditch my 28mm Dark Ages Lion Rampant forces and downsize to 6mm. I think I will do it with Dragon Rampant first.

Thank you so much for sharing this and your Saga project, I will be stealing your basing scheme. Good gaming and i cannot wait to see the next entry!

I have never used the leadership traits when setting up the few games of TMWWBK that I have played. But, I can see now how rolling for those traits really adds to the flair and fun of the game. Nice AAR and thanks for writing it.

Jozis Tin Man, Thanks and good luck with your project. I tend to do big 6mm battles but have started to use for more skirmishing things the last two years – it works really well and plays easier than you thing.

Rhingyll – Thank you. The traits are really funny and as I you say it really adds to the game. All the best.

You have inspired me to get my stuff painted and get playing. Thank you for the write-up.
