Actually it is not new but a rerelease of something they had released back around 1999.

There is already a post discussing the new release or rather re-release of a great set.

I saw these and thought "hey, I could really use something like that!"

Then I saw how much they cost and nearly fell off my chair.

Yeah, I felt the same, but saw them at Cold Wars, knew at some point I would buy them all singly. So I splurged for 215 included tax I got all 5. They look great and are large enough for 28s. Have them primed already!

Yes I got building #2 and #5 a few years back. Used them at Little Wars 3 years ago.

If you are not in the USA wait until you see the shipping.

No doubt – in my case shipping was carry the box to my car ;)

This is a very nice set that I'm just seeing now. Are there any painted examples around.? I would like to buy this but I need to know how to paint it.

Thanks

I can take some pics of the ones I started painting. They are all good sized buildings.

Hello Bob,

Photos of the buildings are here:

I still have a lot of detail work to do on the buildings – but will give you a general idea. The photos came out lighter than the actual coloring, but close enough I guess.

All the best,

Frank
