I have finally completed my first unit of Horse for my Lace Wars project. I think that they turned out rather well but I might just avoid white coats from now on. link |

Thanks Col Campbell but…. It is just that the white coats require almost as much painting time as the rest of the figure (including the horse) and I am still not happy with them. I'm going to stick with blues, grays and reds for the time being. It just so much faster and I have a very limited amount of hobby time :( |

I like them, a lot…. I've noticed since the return of this small selection of plastic WSS figs quite a few have been hitting the paint tables. |

I hope that the rest of the old WSS series get back into production, some of the ancient figures were exquisitely detailed. The Warlord price-gouge is hateful, 1/3 fewer figures and 20% higher price is just wrong. I won't be buying but one more box of foot (for sappers and other specialist troops) |

is a big fan of the Age of Sail, and these ships really speak to him - he loves transitional eras, and the Anglo-Dutch Wars was one of those.
