I am planning on doing the World War 2 Far East Theater (British Commonwealth vs the Japanese) in 6mm/1:285. I am familiar with the vehicles from GHQ, PfC, Irregular, and Heroics/Ros and the Japanese codes are fairly straightforward from these companies. However, I am not sure what to use for the British/Commonwealth infantry. What codes from the major companies can anyone recommend for the British Infantry? Thanks |

Early you can use 8th Army figures in shorts. By 1944, long trousers and steel helmets. They would tend not to wear the slouch hat (or for that matter, the earlier Wolseley helmet) in action). Early on you can use some of the slouch-hatted Australians and Indians in turbans in most companies' 8th Army ranges but no one does this for the later period so just use standard British infantry and try to paint a few with their sleeves rolled up: goo.gl/images/cF0R55 goo.gl/images/HuxaoC goo.gl/images/uw0xlm goo.gl/images/3AD771 |

Thank you. Most helpful. Are any of the figures out there more or less appropriate for the Far East? I am looking at Baccus, GHQ, and Adler. |
