It lives! I finally got around to updating my neglected gaming blog. An analysis of TSR's Second Sather War campaign for Knight Hawks. Okay, it's recycled content from an older site of mine, but it counts… right?

New to me, so certainly does count!

"However, I'm going to let it stand as it is, warts and all."

Very readable so far, though I've not finished, but if you have further observations, I do hope you'll share them as well.

I understand your feelings about defensive fire, but I tend to prefer a game that isn't WWII pacific in the strength of 'little brothers.' Big ships should rule, and UFP has the biggest.

However, if you had inklings of 'solutions', I'd like to hear 'em.

I'd also like to go find my never-played copy of KH.

Wish me luck!

Thanks for sharing your blog post. I have a bunch of Star Frontiers ships, but I use them for other space combat games.

I noticed from your blog that you're in Austin. I'm here as well, so if you're interested in some spaceship gaming, let me know!

Ahh this brings back memories. I enjoyed your write-up on the campaign. We had a lot of fun with that, and with making our own ships/fleets and battling it out.

Huh. I just found my SF ships, and that write-up makes me want to break out Knight Hawks again …

Great blog post. I recently pulled out my copy and played a game. It's still a great gaming system. I used Games Workshop minis:
