Bill's running some games at the upcoming Cold Wars convention run by the HMGS, so for today's article he's giving us an insight into how he takes his collection on the road. Also: pro-tips for deceiving your spouse.

That was great. Excellent advice and I still can't stop laughing.

Gee, Bill. My wife is all in favor of my going. Now I'm suspicious. Thanks a lot.

While I am also still laughing I don't think I will share with my better half. This blog gives away to many secrets.

Great blog Very good you are so well organised and have managed to come to an arrangement with SWMBO. I am lucky SWMBO mutters some times about boxes appearing where they should not be and about parcels with more "toys" in them arriving in the post. But a few years ago we had a full and frank discussion with her saying I had more toys than I would ever need or use and I nuked her with the reply just like your shoes. I almost won but after that I have only got muttering.

Mrs. Carp has been attending cons with me for the last 5-6 years or so. We sometimes play together, sometimes go our separate ways.

My wife tolerates my gaming because it keeps me out of the bars and off the streets. grin

Obviously you chaps haven't been hit with the "Well, what about that new dining room table? – That's not for me, that's for us!" maneuver.

Ciao, Colonel Bill
