This week I have been painting up some Minis from the Conan Boardgame for use in both the Board Game and Frostgrave. Below are a few pictures. A link to the full article is below.

picture

Conan VS an Ape in a Cape.

picture

A Beastcrafter Warband (as would be used in Frostgrave)

picture

Conan himself.

Given that I am a "tabletop quality" painter, these painted up fairly nice. :)

Awfully bad for this quality of figures , sorry….

They are okay for "Tabletop quality." I don't see the point in discouraging people's work. It turns potential new people away from the hobby. Not everyone has to be able to paint to a Golden Demon or showcase quality. :)

Nice One.

I am "table quality" painter too. More people need to post table quality paint jobs as it shows the hobby in a more round light then just Golden Demon showcases.

Keep up the good work :-)

Just a few highlights will add a lot to your paint job. Notice where the light in photos has added highlights, use the photo as reference and add a lighter shade of your base colour to those areas. The paint should be thin but not runny.

They look so much better than unpainted. I think your shading turned out pretty well (that is pretty hard for me, washes don't always quite work that well IMO).

Thanks BoomBoomBoom, Bryan at 50 Paces and Redroom. Bryan, for now I am going to leave them as is, but I may come back to them. I have so much work to do before next Saturday when I am hosting a convention game that I will be using these figures in. :)

They look fine to me. Table top standard is what most of mine get painted to, especially when I have a project that requires lots of figures.
