I picked up a copy of Airfix Battles: An Introductory Game and have found it to be quite fun. The game has a solo variant in the book that I find to be an interesting opponent.

I put together a video of a solo play through using Americans vs Robots. For the Robots, I used the German unit cards (I don't have any painted Germans). I will be playing the game with a variety of my sci-fi armies because I have several painted.

You can watch the video here.

I also posted a brief write up on my blog.
