Over at Altar of Freedom, there's a new free scenario available for the Battle of Globe Tavern. It's late August 1864 and Meade is attempting to cut the Weldon Railroad from supplying the Confederates inside Petersburg. It's a very interesting scenario with part of the tabletop covered in forts and entrenchments, but the other half open terrain where both sides are attempting to find the other's flank. Even if you don't play AoF, there's still plenty of good historical info, maps, and OOBs useful for other rules. link |

Altar of Freedom is not just a game system. It is a historical reference, it is a hobby reference, it is something awesome. |
