1898 Miniatures releases some Spanish soldiers in 28mm and in 1897 pattern uniforms.
Not a Mexican-American but pretty close… (smile)

I have some and find that they are beautiful, well-proportioned miniatures. I appreciate that they have non telephone pole-sized armament and they don't have that all too common "overstuffed" look. Their Philippine huts are also nice. I believe that they also have orher Span-Am minis in the pipeline arriving shortly. Recommended!

With those multi-pouch ammo belts, painted in white or khaki uniforms they should also work as Mexican Revolution auxiliary/volunteer units.
