Week Four and still going

1) Finished "Welly in Inja:Vindaloo" Rules Re-write which is now in the hands of RHB and hopefully will be back in my hands, along with George and Gareth's, by mid-week, so we can all go through them and catch any error's, along with proof-reading proper.

2) Finished Bancroft, it was Meh, Okay I guess, but not Pearman. Starting today Amarpal Sidhu's 1st Sikh War

3) Spion Kop-Val Krantz OB project for Geoff Noble and LWG, should have it roughed out by the end of the week.

4) Peer review article for War Diary Magazine outline started and I should get that going by the end of the week.

And YES…

#5) I may not get to it until Sunday, but I promise that even if I only just start and continue from there, I will be sitting down with the Khalsa Durbar Records, v2 (KDR2 from now on) and start writing down definitions and translations.

I averaged five hours sleep a night for four days this week, woke up early yesterday, went to the Hurricane Cafe in Juno Beach for breakfast, hit Jupiter Beach for a long walk with Tink and came home only to completely crash for the rest of the day.

I hope to have three 5 hour sleep nights this week as I want and need to get stuff accomplished!

Still hanging in there and going strong!

Sounds like you're burning the candle at both ends!

Actually, no. I've never used drugs and I don't think I've ever been (seriously) drunk, but suddenly I'm a whirling dervish.

I usually only sleep 6/7 hours a night, so two or three nights with just five nights sleep is fine.

I think yesterday hit me because of the time change, plus not getting much sleep the night before, along with the others.

Again, two or three nights of me being up and at em by 3:30 AM seems to work, as long as I take about a half hour to really wake up, by reading, etc.

Vindaloo: Wellington in Inja Update

RHB is a bit bogged down right now, but gave me the go ahead to do what I thought best with the rules.

Therefore, since George Pearson, my right hand man, is on Spring Break this week, he will be going through the latest version of the rules. The following week, Gareth Scott will do the same on his end.

After that, Gareth and George will confab and collaborate and meld their ideas, as they meet mine, etc., into the rules as one and then pass them back to me for a final once over before:

1) Submitting them to Berg

2) Using them as the latest working version of the rules.

The great thing about this is that this free's me up to work on the Sikh War Sourcebook and a few other projects while they are busy hammering and tonging the Welly rules into shape on their end.

Expect to hear great things about the rules w/in three weeks and possible posting of them for those of you who are interested, to read them.

Stay Tuned!
