Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Iran of using the Syrian civil war to "gain a foothold to fight Israel" amid fears over Iranian troops stationed along the border with the occupied Golan Heights. Tehran is supporting Bashar al-Assad with deployments of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), Basij militia and funding to allied militias including Hezbollah. A few surgical strikes but that will be all that he can get away with. The UN is not going to do anything. Will have to see how supported he is with the current US Admin. |

Why would the U.N. do anything? It's very much not their problem. I doubt bombing Iranian troops will end well. |

Probably because one of them thinks the other doesn't have a right to exist. Probably going to make for even more fireworks in the near future. |
