A couple more solos games today, including my first attempt at Cowpens. Going to fiddle with the terrain some, but I liked the look. Enjoy and thanks for looking! link |

Sponge forest might just suit the real British ones. Noticed reluctance to cut the plush mat: I was going to order one to cut it in fields; not a good idea? |

@Jcfrog: I may just be too conservative, but it seems the plush mat needs the hem around the side. I have sent them a note to see what they think. |

Response from Cigar Box: "As far as plush goes, if they are cut they tend to fray more. I'd suggest having them professionally hemmed / altered if you do so. If you are doing small pieces (like a field), I'd suggest mounting and gluing to a thin board. I would not recommend just cutting them and leaving them "as is". I'm going to cut up some plush "euro just fields" and glue the fields to thin wood board and then put a fence around them. I think it will work fine!" |

Really nice. Going to game Guilford Courthouse next? |

@Hatian: Probably, I have the troops for it. I painted up enough to do Guilford, as everything else is pretty much a sub-set. Playing around with the new Ruse De Guerre rules from Baccus too. |
