Why do they offer a packet of four figures with eight variations possible, but when you order two packs they send you two poses each of four figures?

This happened to an order of AZW British figures I received today and also with a pack of Zulu leaders from an earlier order. I'd like to have the alternative figures but there is no way of ordering them with any certainty.

Better to split the pack into two packs with different stock numbers.

Other than that I am pleased with the speedy delivery of my order.

US or UK? And did you ask? I've found them (US) very accommodating about the figures in a pack.

They are very nice guys to deal with, give them a call and I bet they will set you up!

I have had nothing but good experience with them.

I've had nothing but good experiences with them.

I am just wondering out loud why they offer 8 poses and then send you 2 each of 4 of them.

UK website but sometimes they seem to come from the US.

I am in New Zealand so won't be phoning them. I should have enough figures to complete my Armies so its a missed opportunity.

Yes I asked and they did exactly that, I'm pleased to say they try hard to be accommodating, my only wish is they'd start expanding ranges and new periods, I'd buy from them any day, some of the best and easiest figures to paint IMO out there. (You always can see what is what detail wise) heck they'd be in the money if they did their ranges in that bones plastic too.

I have ordered from them (US) about a dozen times in last six-seven years and have always received great service. I special-ordered a few times also.

My guess is that they package based on their mold layouts which were probably made when they only had 4 different poses available. Then when they added the additional 4 poses they again made a production mold for them with the quantity doubled up.

Okay thanks leidang you are on topic thanks.

I think they need to separate the eight figures into two separate packs so you can order the figures you want without any hassle.

Just to be clear I have been ordering Black Tree Design figures since 2004 or earlier. I have never had any issues with missing orders or wrong figures delivered. My collection has many WW2 Americans, Germans and Russians. I love all of the figures which are a pleasure to paint. I also own quite a few of the Dr Who range but have only painted Daleks. My Robin Hood collection has many of their Medieval figures in them and I also own Celts and Romans but have only painted something like 25 Celts.

Its just this ordering issue that bothers me.

I think that they have now split the Chiefs pack into two.
