I tried to make a Legion as close to 1:1 as I could in this game.

Each roman unit is 160, I was unsure whether to do it with 10 units or 8, With 8 units per line I get 1280 soldiers, which is very close to the real legion, but then each of the two main lines are two "units" short.

The other was to do 10 per line. But then each line would be 1600 and I thought that would be too much, so I went with 8.

So In this picture you have 1280 Velites, 1280 Hastati, 1280 Pricipes, 640 Triarii, and 300 Equies.

If anyone are interested I have pictures of the following battle against Carthage.

Well done. According to Livy or Polybius (sorry don't have them available right now) some legions were raised with 1500 men for the Hastati, Principes, and Velites in emergency situations.

I suggest a better graphics card, you'll really like what you see allot more.

Notwithstanding the various issues and bugs with Rome 2, one of the major problems with recent TW titles is that if you have a computer created by the hands of men, rather than forged by Sauron in the fires of Mount Doom, whatever the graphics setting the game looks a bit dodgy and and runs like a three-legged pig.

It's impressive, though. It's a shame that you can't play games with multiple legions really, although that would be practically impossible from a unit management perspective as well as a performance one.
