Vanguard minis has some awesome alternatives. I use their minis with flamers, melta, and plasma guns for my assault squads instead of pistols and swords. |

I guess I'm calling the heavy flamer a melta gun? There are standard flamers in their tactical squads. |

DRM, HLS/EW, GZG, Microworld, off the top of my head, all pack heavy weapons. If you look at my LotD. TMP link My buddy added some Heavy Weapons on standard SMs … It really is not that difficult at this scale. Also Brigade makes Infantry heavy weapon that are separate pieces. link |
