I have shaken off the distractions that have kept me away from the painting bench and I knocked out my final unit of Foot for my Lace Wars Project, a unit of British Fusileers. On to the Horse!

Wargames Factory 28mm WSS range (now sadly defunct)

Take a look here link

Warlord is re-releasing them. Or it's a new range, but I think it is the WF figs.

Very nice neat painting, can't quite tell from the pics if you have highlighted though. Will you leave the bases plain as is ?

Very nice work

As noted by Jericho, the new Warlord Games Marlborough's Wars are a re-issue of the Wargames Factory figs – but 24 per box rather than 36 and a somewhat reduced range of alternate heads

I had heard that Warlord had purchased the molds but I'm saddened to find that the price reduction does not reflect the smaller number of figures in each box. I am glad that I got mine while they were cheap!

With any luck Warlord will re-release the rest of the ranges that Wargames factory had produced (except the Zulu War range…..those were rather ugly)

Not highlighted per se; painted bright and then given a darker wash, cheating I know but I have very limited time. Not a technique that I would chose for individual figures but it works well-enough with larger units.

link It doesn't stand up to close scrutiny but I can live with the results
