The Maine Historical Wargamers Association is pleased to welcome game masters, attendees, vendors, and guests to the registration site for Huzzah! 2017. Thank you for your interest and enthusiasm in supporting (mostly) historical wargaming in New England. The convention continues to grow, reaching 350+ participants! The offers of assistance from individuals and clubs throughout the region has been tremendous, and we are looking forward to a weekend of good games and excellent company at the DoubleTree in South Portland, Maine. registration.huzzahcon.com

Some highlights this year for Huzzah! 2017

The 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad will be marked by having Stalingrad themed games all weekend long. One of our vendors, Things From the Basement, has actually created famous Stalingrad buildings, such as Pavlov's House, just for the show! In addition, Thomas Stoessi, of Stoessi's Heroes, will be releasing new Stalingrad collectible miniatures at Huzzah!, and many of the games will feature new releases from Eureka. Even if you do not play in the Stalingrad games, you will not want to miss seeing them!

The Huzzah! Cadets!
Several people stepped forward after Huzzah! 2016 with the idea to create a program an outreach program for young gamers at Huzzah! The result of their hard work is the Huzzah! Cadets. Young players can visit various games at the convention (marked as kid-friendly and/or Cadet) to experience different genres and periods of gaming, and win some prizes too!

To The Frontier!
Clubs throughout the region answered the call to field forces for the annual Club Invitation Game, which this year takes us to the hills of Afghanistan. Inspired by the Siege of Chitral, 1895, this game will pit the fierce local Pathan tribes against British aligned Colonial troops, and, of course, the relief column!

Accommodations
A discounted room rate has been negotiated for attendees of Huzzah! The discount provides a room with two double beds for $107 USD per night. Have all the convenience of staying at the convention venue!
