I don't think there is a single book treatment on Jonesboro yet. And for an overview to fill in the gaps (Cassville, Jonesboro, etc.)

I also left out What the Yankees Did to Us: Sherman's Bombardment and Wrecking of Atlanta by Stephen Davis. Its an in-depth study of the actual siege and aftermath. No real battle, but a good book to wedge in there between Ezra Church and Jonesboro. |
