Carrying on with Too Fat Lardies Dawns and Departures campaign system as shown here: TMP link

We again used a Napoleonic version of Pikemen's Lament, slightly modified and the scenario and the rules are a continuing success.

A few photos of the game:

Very nice, I've been thinking of using D&D as a campaign system for ECW-era Pikeman's Lament. Actually, I've been thinking of using D&D as a campaign system for a lot of pre-20th century gaming.

Great setup! I like seeing Old Glory figs too.

Thanks guys. We had a good time too. Of course the scenario was purloined, um I mean researched from the brilliant gentlemen at Too Fat Lardies.

Whose the shifty rascal purloined behind the trees?

Big Red Supporting Member of TMP05 Mar 2017 6:57 a.m. PST

That's my shifty, regular opponent Bob. He wins way more often than he looses but on this occasion, the British had to fall back. Next week its off to Belgium for a WSS game.

What scale is this?
Are the French OLD GLORY 25mm?

Big Red Supporting Member of TMP11 Apr 2017 9:06 a.m. PST

trailape,

Sorry, didn't see your request. Yes, all the figures are 25mm Old Glory with the exception of the Spanish guerrillas which are Front Rank.

Thanks.
They look very nice.
Just goes to show what a good paint job can accomplish.
Seems the OLD GLORY miniatures are holding up despite their age.
