Hi folks,

Just uploaded my first efforts at chopping up and painting little ships. No real focus or plan, I just fancied a change from Napoleonics!

Hope you folks like. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

thanks

Well done – the stripe recognition is a great idea

I really like the Salamander (ship next to gold liner) though I think it betrays its actually being a fighter from Silent Death. When Iron Crown Enterprises had financial problems, they sold the molds, which went to a number of companies, including EM-4.

In the US, we can get them from Metal Express.

As an FYI, that's one of the figs Star Fleet Battles uses as ship from 'the early years.' ;->=

I'm a bit less appreciative of the stripes; for complex structures like the GZG's, can be confusing unless seen straight on.

I'm all for confusing the enemy, not so much my viewers.

Still, more quibbles than serious criticisms. I'd fly 'em in a heartbeat! Let us know if they're up for sale.
