Sad to learn from the article that this diorama is apparently no longer there. I saw it in 1999 and it was enormous. As one can see, the figures are flats.

The Bavarian Army Museum. I have visited this excellent Museum a few times since the early 90's. It has undergone a renovation a few years ago. Highly Recommended.

Not to far away in the Kulmbach castle and Prussian Seven Years War museum is another Leuthen diorama as well as dozens of other dioramas and vinettes.

The Museum is in a state of refurbishment. As far as I know, a pedagogical concept will be introduced, whatever that will mean. So the, undoubtedly old-fashioned, exhibition and unfortunately perhaps the building known as "Zinnfigurenturm" may be at risk.

But there are still nice things to be seen in Germany:
