I hate them parks and amusement parks, hence my kids never got to Disneyland, etc. However, leave it to the Russians to come up with a them park I would've gladly taken my kids to:

I wonder how well this would go over in the USA?

I guess the Hitler Youth could be the aggressors.

The Yunamaria was founded by Russia's minister of defense, Sergey Shoigu, in 2015, as a way to encourage patriotism among school kids, and teach essential life skills like how take out a fortified machine-gun nest.

LOL!!

Sad, but true if you're going to be a grunt. Knowing how to take down a MG position is a vital life skill.

We tankers prefer a more simple solution. HEAT rounds with some 12.7mm and 7.62mm on the side.

We imperialists in the West came up with Call of Duty to accomplish same. And make some coin at the same time.

Can they serve kids black bread, cigerettes and vodka at the cafeteria? Is that legal in Russia?

My paintballers beat up your stick figure Yuamaria!

A long time ago,I went to a summer camp like that. It was called"Fort Knox". I was there the whole summer and got to do lots of cool things. The cafeteria most definately served "army food".

I did THREE summer camps like that--Lackland AFB, Fort Dix and Fort Benning. (That last one had pizza--late at night, from an unmarked van, if the TAC officers didn't catch you.)

But I might briefly revisit one which served C rations. I still miss C-rat ham and eggs. And pound cake with all the fixings. And John Wayne bars.

The MRE's are more practical, I'll grant you. You can put a good edge on a dehydrated pork patty.

It's funny how I miss c-rations…

Yup. If you got the pound cake look for the guy who got the fruit cocktail!

As far as the playground goes, that sounds like one hell of a place for some MilSim airsoft.

Never had C-rations or MRE, but the chicken curry in the old Compo rations was pretty damned good.
