I don't know what I was thinking but I placed orders with both Maverick Models and Xyston in mid/late December, just before the Christmas rush for delivery in Canada. As many of you no doubt have experienced when ordering from overseas at that time of year, packages are often delayed and the risk of loss seems to increase.

After about 7 weeks neither ordered had arrived so I contacted Stuart at Maverick Models and Robert and Sebastian at Xyston to determine whether my order had been sent, or, hopefully, overlooked in the rush. Both companies replied promptly confirming my fear that the packages had been lost/stolen and both offered to replace immediately at no cost.

Both replacement packages arrived safe and sound today, less than a week after initial contact. I don't know whether either company was obligated to replace the order but the fact that they did so without complaint or hassle will ensure my continued purchases. Not only do Maverick Models and Xyston have great product, their customer service is outstanding. Well done and thank you, Stuart, Robert and Sebastian.
