Hi, I'm printing some flags for Waterloo 42nd foot. I printed some from nap flags but before I glued them I checked mont saint jean which had a slightly different colour and details from nap flags. Which is usually the most accurate? Mont Saint Jean flags is higher res but will need a bit of editing(they have a tassel in the middle not double sided etc) and I wonder will it make a noticeable difference at 28mm? What do most people use ? |

Does GMB fit well AB miniatures flag poles? |

Pay for a flag ! Oh No, both the above sites are pretty good and its so easy to print off a flag and they look good just on paper I'm definitely not paying money for them. But which site is most accurate Napflags or MSJ ? |

GMB do 15mm scale flags which are ideal for AB figures. If you have to go for 'print it yourself' then I would go to Napflags. I used them before I discovered GMB. I think that they are very accurate. |

Thanks. I spent a good hour playing around with the msj flag, doing a mirror image, getting the colour just right etc. Then I printed it, feeling very pleased with myself, only to see that at 28mm there was no descernable difference what so ever. So I might as go with the nap flags as you say. Oh well at least I know now. Why do people pay for gmb flags, are they really much better? I think paper, PvA glue and wrapping round a pencil look great, am I missing out ? |

I cannot say for myself as I don't have any experience with GMB but perhaps it is a question of image resolution? Ink quality? |
