Some local filmmakers in my neck of the woods were looking for an excuse to try out a new ultra-macro-lens, so they asked if they could come out and film some of my miniatures stuff. They ended up making a little short narrative mini-doc about it!

Check out the finished documentary here: vimeo.com/204481877

I like it!

From the first few frames I think we have found the next John Wick

He is not the boogeyman. He is the one you send to kill the boogeyman.

Bravo!

Thanks for the kind words fellas.

I'm somewhat worried that the finished product made me look like a sad sack who paints figures all alone at night after work and never interacts with other humans. Which is of course the exact opposite of my hobby!

Local boy makes it to the big time!!! Excellent!!! Great little documentary!

Excellent! No you don't look like a sad sack. Quite normal in fact, pretty much like most of us. Very well done video. It would nice to see you painting some Napoleonics.

Neat.

You come across as a hard working guy with a nice family, who eats well, and should probably stop licking the end of his brush…. grin

Nicely done.

I like the Calvin and Hobbes book you've got with your rules. Sometimes I think "Calvinball" might have some basis in wargame rules….

You nailed it.

And I cant believe the depth of field that lens has.
