Good idea! I have two of the plush mats and have been thinking about how I want to handle hills. You may have solved it for me. Thanks!

I bought several of the original mats, which are nice, but I like the look of the new ones.

Thanks for the review, I have several of their mats and use carpet pad shapes under them for hills. I like the look of the plush mats, might have to get one of those.

How do like the cut out roads and rivers?

I rather like the cut out roads and rivers. I have only cut out the one in the picture and I am probably going to trim it a little closer when I get a chance, but i think it looks good an you cannot beat the storage weight! I like that they come in long pieces so you don't have many seams.

Carpet padding – that's a good idea.

And that prompt a kallistra order…

Cigar box will have a nice big one in a couple of months…
