After months of painting, it was finally time to try out Hail Ceasar. The wife and I went at it with my Romans and her Britons basically tieing. It was a fun time and we really enjoyed the ruleset. Probably not the most interesting battle report but I figured I would share none the less.

Enjoy,
Phil

Phil,
for something that as you put it, "probably not the most interestig batrep.." I thought it was very well done.
And NO shortage of 'eye candy' in the way of troops. They looked great.
Your mat, was that 'home made' or one you bought? Some parts almost look as if the terrain is textured – 3D.

I recently got HC myself & reading when I can here/there.
Working on 2 'imagination' D A forces myself, no specific nationality or exact period.

However, Ive wondered should I have gone w/ Romans and a 'generic' barbarian force (germanic & some celt's tossed in).

I have played a game or 2 of BP and of HC. The thing I really like about the general sys., the 'command roll'.
It gives that great realistic 'unknown factor' to the game.
You cant be sure your units will get their 3 command moves. This can lead to some tough decisions.

Thanks for posting the BatRep and all of the pics!

btw, a wife that not only supports but enjoys gaming also?
Where do I go to find a lady like that. )
