"Fair warning" as auctioneers say: I`ll be reviewing prices next month, so opportunity to buy my new 6mm ACW paper armies @ £10.00 GBP (or any of my Napoleonic armies for £5.00 GBP) will only last for a week or so…..

question normally when i click on paypal every thing is done automatically, confused this is a download so why do i need to include name address etc for billing/shipping on this site is the email link that goes to my account on paypal not enough,is this some kind of check that paypal does sorry not to clued in to much to how paypal works,it just works

MichaelCollinsHimself23 Feb 2017 4:44 a.m. PST

Hi wardog,

When you pay by PayPal you`ll recieve an email notification with a link for the download.
When you click on that link it will send the zipped files to your email account.
PayPal is the agent for the sale, it knows where you are, but my website shop also needs to know where it has to send the files to.
Identifying buyers` locations is just of those legal things that one has to do for accounting purposes. Also ensures that you get the download and not someone who knows your PayPal account name instead.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Mike.

Michael, I applaud this effort of art. It is a way those of us who have spent countless hours painting the figures, and number them in the thousands, can bring the hobby to younger men. I know of two who can't paint, but can fold while still learning how to deploy them! C'est nessaire. I have wonderful table art, and your figures (I believe they deserve that title) will work well.
Thanks,
Rob Painter

Hi Mike,

Any chance that you may be adding any French Allies? Italian, Bavarian, Wurttemberg…etc?

Phil

MichaelCollinsHimself02 Mar 2017 12:13 a.m. PST

Hi Phil,

Bavarians will be next – and I did consider adding Wurttemburgers to the same army pack…

Mike.

That's great. Looking forward to it as I'm working on 1809.

Thanks.

would have been nice to see them based

MichaelCollinsHimself18 Mar 2017 1:06 p.m. PST

I did consider making printed bases for the unit blocks, but then that`s one of the things that gamers are best left to decide for themselves – how best the paper armes fit into the basing systems that their rules have.

Just what I was looking for. I bought the ACW file.

I picked these up a couple of weeks ago and have been building my armies. Great stuff!

GROSSMAN24 Mar 2019 5:28 p.m. PST

This is blaspheme, one does not simply use paper armies when lead is available…

Stoppage25 Mar 2019 3:29 p.m. PST

@grossman

They have lead inside to weight them down.
