I had some officers and similar minis from Front Rank before, but this is my first unit of them(for SP2).

Overall I really like the look of them, with lots of nice poses to choose from.

The command miniatures were also nice, characterful sculpts:

I got two packs from Foundry to make up the second half of the unit, so I'm looking forward to compare them. But a big thumbs up for Front Rank from this experience.

More pics on my blog if you want to check more details:

Foundry will be much smaller. Good paint job on these though.

Those look great! I have been looking at the Front Rank range for Portuguese and Spanish. I have mostly Warlord and Wargames Factory (Warlord now I guess). Anyone have any experience mixing the figs up on a movement tray? How do they compare size wise? Agree nice poses, certainly more interesting than a bunch of guys marching :-). Seems most of Warlord Games offerings are way short in the pose department, unless you get the re-branded Wargames Factory stuff, which actually has some nice skirmishers.

I took a comparison photo of the ranges I have painted this far:

Warlord, Perry, Flintloque, Front Rank

Of these I think that the Flintloque soldier is the only one that would stand out too much if you put them together.

In my eyes the Warlord looks massive as well – the shall is big compared to the others
