Here's another scratchbuild airplane in 1/56 scale for my 28mm collection. This is a P51 MkI Mustang badged to the RAF flown by Canadian pilot, Flt Lt Bill Tuele on D-Day. All the insignia is painted freehand.

First, just a beautiful miniature. I saw the Nate you posted a week or so ago, just spectacularly beautiful and spot on for both planes.

Second, have you considered blogging your creative process? Your work is gorgeous, and your miniatures are so unique, I'm sure others would love to learn how they could do it too.

Great stuff, hope to see more.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I'll keep posting photos here as I complete new models but a blog is prob a good idea (just need to get my teenage daughter to teach me how). Here's a link to some others I did a few years back:
