Greetings! This past Holiday Season my family and I visited Britain (first time there for our 3 teenagers!) and I managed to slip in an all-too-brief but still incredibly enjoyable visit to a Scottish gaming friend's home -- complete with his incredible collection of figures and terrain. This past June I'd been lucky enough to host him while he and his family were visiting my area of Southern California, and he more than returned the favor, having to drive much further to ferry me back and forth than I had done, and through much worse weather! While visiting I took some photos of his treasure trove, and with his kind permission have posted them on my blog. Here's a couple of teaser pics:
If you'd like to see more, I invite you to visit at: link …and thanks in advance for your time! EDIT: I had planned to cross-post this thread to both the "Wargaming in the USA" AND "Wargaming in the UK" boards… but it appears that's not possible. Maybe in some way it makes sense that once you post something on one nation's board it can't be cross-posted to any other… but seems a bit overly restrictive to me. What if a French gamer posts about visiting a gaming convention in Belgium? Wouldn't it be natural to put the thread on both boards? Or maybe it's just a one-time "bug" effect? I will have to ask the editor… |
