These are lovely. I'll need to buy a ton of these. I wonder why the absence of the 50mm mortar? Did the company lose its mortar section late war, or something? Hopefully it is planned for a later date? |

I wonder why the absence of the 50mm mortar? Did the company lose its mortar section late war, or something? Yes, the humble 50 mm mortar disappears from the official TOEs close to the end of the war. That said, Eureka already does one: link |

Thanks Griefbringer. Did not know Eureka already did a 50mm mortar. |
Vigilant | 15 Feb 2017 5:45 a.m. PST |
Wish they'd do earlier for the Winter War instead of yet more mid to late war Russians. |

Maybe they want to sell lots Vigilant? Its a fantastic range. Having been lucky enough to see Tony work on it over the last few months, its gonna be a blindingly good dange.

Griefbringer. Isn't that Eureka 50mm Mortar a 28mm model? |
Disco Joe | 15 Feb 2017 11:25 a.m. PST |
Redlancer38, the one he links too is indeed a 28mm model. |
Griefbringer | 16 Feb 2017 3:45 a.m. PST |
Yes, the mortar I linked to is indeed from their 28 mm WWII range. I presumed that the models in the original post were 28 mm, since Tango (as is his usual manner) neglected to mention any spatial dimensions for them. |
