Looking for information as to whether Prussian Hussars and Landwer cavalry ever had standards issued for either parade or campaign purposes please? Any assistance appreciated. Thanks |

What period? You need to be more specific. Prior to 1807: Hussar had them ( from prior to and SYW), left them at depot during campaign and lost them in 1806/07. good source link Landwehr Cav- most folks do what they want and using most items offered by flag suppliers ( GMB, maveric etc) since the rule was "they were not to suppose to but may have" ( carrying local made fanions) "rule of thumb" Most of mine do not but I am reconsidering this. I a basically looking at period 1792 to 1815. I appreciate there may have been major changes after 1806. Thank you for the link. It looks very informative. |

None of my Calpe Hussars or Landwehr cavalry carry standards, only the Dragoons and Cuirassiers. |

Dragoons and Cuirassiers only as far as I am aware. The Hussars actually ceased carrying their standards in the field in 1743, after some embarrassing experiences at the hands of Austrian Hussars and Pandours in the first Silesian war. |
