No idea, but this suggests you might be better saving your money:

I did consider buying it, but I already have the Atlas of the Peninsular War and a number of other books which give OoBs, so will create my own scenarios.

I would be interested in knowing what the scenario maps look like as well, or otherwise I would spend the extra money and get the atlas.

Why don't you use the "Contact Us" button at the top of the page and ask them directly?

Good suggestion. Email sent.

Go to the Amazon page and do the "Look Inside". You can see all the scenarios covered and see an example. I wasn't impressed. You could get as much from Wikipedia and elsewhere using Google.

I bought it and I'm sorry to say I'm not impressed either. The scenarios are very skimpy – don't remember maps (maybe there are some), orbats totally general – without unit totals. Wargames values for troops, especially Spanish, more wargame convention than anything historical. Compares very poorly with other such works (e.g. Oliver & Partridge's splendid work). Shame. Bought Wellington's Eastern front at the same time – that is a mine of information and a good read.

Thanks for the heads-up as I did not hear anything back from the publisher. What a shame. First got introduced to Vimeiro as an example OB in one of the "Knight's Battles for Wargamers" series, (though that battle never got it's own book) then found Oman's works at a college library. I'll take a look at the other books listed in this thread.

Ok, so I did hear back from the publisher Pen-and-Sword.co.uk via an office administrator. Their response was that the book was widely available at book stores so I should look at a copy there and then order on-line. Avery strange response and maybe worthy of separate thread.
