With my first official Breaking Lances tournament happening this weekend at Dundracon game convention, I'm frantically creating some "set dressing". I drew up and cut this pavilion last night and seeing how they paint up tonight. Based on a couple of period manuscript pieces.

Very rough WIP shots, and some of the inspiration. Love to know what you think?

I think it looks great. I believe some of them could be quite colourful (like the one on the left in the illustration, or more so), so you could have a lot of fun in that area if you want.

Please provide pictures of the demo game if you get the chance!

Gone- You betcha! This was the first test to see if they would paint up with some "volume" to them. I've got 4 more on the table that are getting more colorful as my confidence increases.

And lots of pics to be sure! (as I'll be shooting for the rule book)
Cheers

Those are awesome, really well done!

I also checked out your blog. Your undead conversions are fantastic!

Everything looks wonderful!

Can't wait to play this this weekend

Baranovich- thanks! Those are not conversions, but a new line of undead "landsknechts" I'll be doing a kickstarter for at the end of the month.
Mako11- cheers!
Black Cavalier- I am looking forward to Dundracon as well- hope to see you there!

I like your work S&K.
But I have to say, Im far more a fan of your knights, "Breaking Lances" project more than your undead, but they do look good.

Its been awhile I need to check your 'store' and see how far you have come w developing your mounted collection. Oh and did you ever add Foot soldiers / knights to the line?

Keep up the Great Work

Part Time Gamer-
Store is updated and has all current mounted knights and pavilions up for sale on my Skull and Crown store
skullncrown.com

Rules are in layout (my editor had to head back to the UK for a family matter so a bit of a delay) and a full set of the game will be ready by Kublacon Game convention.

Foot knights won't come out till after I complete my Triumph of Death Kickstarter.
Cheers!

Great idea to bring in an element of 3D by using layers. I may have toi try this with 12mm Modern troops using say 1mm Plastic or 1mm ply.

Thanks for posting.

Been a while S & K, thought I'd "check in" and see if things were and hope back on track
BTW, how is or did your "Triumph of Death" Kickstarter project turn out?

Think I'll wander over to your site and see what all you have added and in progress.
Best of luck.
