As one of the games played this month at the monthly meeting of the DWG, this Battle of Stonne scenario gave us the chance to try out Fireball Forward 2nd Edition rules
Much fun was had and the rules played very well in this entertaining scenario. If you would like to see how things played out, just follow the link to the club blog link If you are also looking to join a wargames club here in Devon then you might like to come along and check us out. We regularly play three different games a month right across the spectrum, specialising in historical wargaming and always aim to get visitors involved in a game on their first visit. You should also know that the first visit is free allowing you to decide if you would like to join us on a regular basis. Details about where we meet and when are on the club blog together with plenty of examples of the kind of games we like to play. What a small world. Yesterday I decided I wanted to use my 6mm French figures with the Company Commander rules, and I spent the evening gathering info about the battles at Stonne. |

If you are interested in the battle of Stonne in 1940 there are three detailed scenarios reflecting the course of the battle over the period 15 – 16 May 1940 in my French scenario pack.
