Very interesting. I keep toying with the idea of getting into the Carlist War but hesitate to dive into another big budget 28mm project. These look like they could be an easier path into the period.

Flank companies sculpted, everything is ready for the foundry. They should be availble around May 15th ;)

The Spanish infantry battalions of the XIX follow the usual organization of centre and flank companies. Grenadiers to deploy the right and Lights "Cazadores" to the left. The flank, "preferencia", companies wear epaulettes and a "sabrebriquet".


Los batallones de infantería española del XIX seguían el esquema habitual de diferenciar compañías de centro y flanco. Las de flanco, compañías de preferencia, eran la de granaderos que desplegaba a la derecha de la linea y la de cazadores que desplegaba a la izquierda del batallón. Las compañías de preferencia vestían charreteras y un sable corto.
