Hello peeps Who makes the nicest 1/300 scale WW1 infantry? I need some geezers on the march, slung rifles. Also cavalry, also marching? Many thanks in advance John |

Thanks for the help, Heroics and Ros, but their site says, 'British infantry' and has 'no image avaliable' which is no use to me. Baccus, I used to work a stand at the UK shows, and think Mr Baccus is a bit of a tit, and wont give him my money. Irregular, I'll go look, cheers. Country, and period, Sorry, should've said, German, and British, tin hats, picklehaubs, don't really cars at 1/300. Thanks again, I tried to find some using google image, but came up blank, this is annoying me! John |

OK, Irregular, lovely range, but no marching figures, or cavalry with slung lances, etc, but great figures, and nice 'route of march' wagons, gunteams, etc, I may well use some of these. thank you David Manley. John |

Irregular has marching German figures in their field caps. I will have to check for the British. It isn't that obvious at 1/300 ;-) If by 'slung lances' you mean pointing straight up then there are some German cavalry with this option. I don't think the Uhlanen are from memory. The Indian cavalry have slung lances but I haven't seen the BEF early war. I went with cavalry without lances as they are a pain in storage/transport. Robert |

The Irregular Miniatures BEF only have cavalry armed with swords. GWG09 are the German Kuirassier cavalry with slung lances. GWG14 are marching figures with field caps. Robert |

For British cavalry with lances, try using Irregular Miniatures Russian Lancers GWR10. |
