Today, we played a couple of games from the 80's -- Fantasy dungeon crawl and heroic quest games! Great fun!
We had a game of X-Wing to finish too, my cup runneth over!
The (brief) write up is on my blog at this link

Phil Barker ran the pre-issue of Sorcerer's Cave at a convention once. Ian Beck and I signed up to play; naturally Phil took the Hero character as Conan. Ian and I went in the tunnels, PB was behind us. At some stage we came across a bear (not sure if that was in the final game) and, after a couple of moves trying to 'befriend' it, moved on. At some stage a cave in meant our only way out was back past the bear which PB had meanwhile befriended. We got back to that chamber and PB couldn't understand why we decided to go hunting for bear – it was an impossible task as it was impossible for us to beat it. Still, we tried.

Still got the game itself in the attic somewhere.

I am just so sad I didn't do a blow by blow account of the SC and MW game!
